Your data
Your data, in plain words
Six promises, kept by how Explorer is built. Each one links to the part of the Privacy Policy that says it in full.
No ads, no tracking, nothing sold
Explorer shows no ads, doesn't track you across other companies' apps and websites, and never sells your information.
In the Privacy Policy →Your photos stay on your iPhone
Explorer reads only where and when each photo was taken, on your iPhone. A photo leaves it only when you share it, and then without its location.
In the Privacy Policy →Your location backup is locked with your key
If you back up your location history, it's encrypted on your iPhone with a key kept in your iCloud Keychain. Explorer stores it but can't read it.
In the Privacy Policy →Sharing with friends ends when you say
Sharing your location is off until you turn it on, for the friends you pick and for as long as you choose. Stop it, and it ends at once.
In the Privacy Policy →Explorer asks before using its AI
Before anything goes to Explorer's AI, the app shows what it sends and who runs the model (Scaleway, in France), and asks you. You can stop it at any time.
In the Privacy Policy →Download or delete everything
Download everything our server keeps about you in one file, or delete it all, on your iPhone and on our server, with one button.
